Fruit dipped in chocolate sauce - serves 4
- 125g/4oz buckwheat flour
- 125g/4oz wholewheat flour
- ½tsp salt
- 1tbs brown sugar
- 2tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 275ml/9fl oz milk
- 1tbs sunflower or grapeseed oil, plus extra for brushing the pan
Sieve the flour into a bowl, and add the salt, sugar, and baking powder. Beat the eggs, and add them with the milk. Stir in the oil, and blend or mix in the food processor. Allow to stand for 30 minutes. Heat a non-stick pan, brush with a very little oil, and drop in spoonfuls of the mixture. When bubbles have formed all over the surface, turn the pancakes. Serve with lemon juice, honey, and sesame seeds.
