'I have always loved anything involving spies and espionage, I already have a lot of books on the topic. This one is very different though, it covers an assortment of information, most of which was new to me and I learned a lot from it. The book is split into 8 chapters covering different themes, the comprehensive contents and index pages making it easy to locate what you are looking for if you just want to dip in. The friendly, informative style it is written in always made me want to read more, as did the fun illustrations. It is easy to engage with the book as the text and graphics are interactive. Any child reading this book will be inspired to find out more and try some spy themed activities for themselves.'

Reviewed: The Americas Where to go when
'This is a fantastic collection of facts, vibrant illustrations and information on the Americas. It is full of tips of where and when is best to go to various places, depending on what you want to do. My only criticism is that because there is so much packed into this book, some of the print is too small.
The suggested itineraries are very practical and the Tips very useful.
It does inspire me try travel to other places which I may not have considered before

'Put another log on the fire, settle down in your favourite armchair and read all about the men and women whose spirit of adventure and bravery led them to conquer the world's great mountains. The book concentrates on the personalities involved, but also covers many other topics such as the changes in equipment and technology and the history of mountain photography, art and literature.'
