To celebrate the publication of Pixarpedia – Dorling Kindersley's guide to the world of Pixar – DK and Total Film are giving you the chance to win an amazing trip for two to the Pixar Animation Studios in San Francisco. Second prize is a First For Film subscription package with a total value of over £200, plus five lucky runners up will win a copy of Pixarpedia.

To be in with a chance of winning, submit an original animated short film based on the theme of 'an animated adventure'.

The winning entry will be chosen by Pixar's lead artists on the new film Up and will win a trip for two to San Francisco; including return flights, three nights accommodation, plus a tour of Pixar Animation Studios and a meet with the filmmakers.

Entries should be a maximum of two minutes long
Entries must be no larger than 1GB in file size
Entrants must complete the form and upload the corresponding animation to www.youtube.com
Entrants must be UK residents aged 16 years or over
