'I was sent this book for my boy to review and he was certainly not disappointed! The book was a lot bigger than I was expecting and each page is bright and colourful, as DK books normally are. My son has never really liked drawing until recently paying a small interest in it (age 7). He has loved drawing and doodling in this book, it has really encouraged him to show his creative side. I think that this book is unique compared to other drawing/colouring books and it draws the attention of children by having ''cool'' categories and having things in there that I have not seen in other books. My son''s favourite part of the book was the comic book page, he loved drawing his own comic strip! Overall this book is educational but in an exciting way. My son now even takes a pencil and paper to the supermarket with him to carry on with his doodles when Mam is shopping!'

'No sooner had this book arrived, than my son had pulled out his pencil case and was busy designing his very own racing car. This was swiftly followed by designing his own experiment, working out what to put in his time capsule and designing a tribal mask. This is one of the best examples of this kind of book for boys that I''ve ever come across - it will hold their attention for hours.'

'Got to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by this book. My son is not the biggest fan of drawing but this book had him reaching for the pencils straight away. Each spread gives a new fact-filled section with enough space to get to work doodling your own creations. Even I added a few drawings. All in all a great book for doodlers of all abilities with the added bonus of giving a fun learning experience. One tip for DK though, perhaps within the price they could include a few colouring pencils.'
