'It''s taken me a few months to give this book a thorough look over and work out - but I see that as a good thing. First of all don''t expect this to be "handbook" sized. It''s not and it''s hardback, so no carrying it around with you on nature walks unfortunately. This book is also not limited to the UK, although this gets a lot more focus than the rest of the world. In general the book is great. It covers a lot from climate, habitats, animals themselves, eco-systems and even what to wear for a walk out in the countryside. It has lots of interesting content with diagrams, pictures to explain things. I think older children would enjoy this book as well as adults. A great general education and peek into the world of nature and its workings - however if you want to look at an area more specifically - then get a specialised book. A very interesting book, which I''d recommend. Fun, educational and great variety.'
