'I have been reading this book with my 7 year old. The book has bright and attractive illustrations which have caught her imagination. Several times she has picked up the book and looked through the pictures, coming to one which has caught her imagination, then asked me to explain about it.
The book is divided into sections covering the five senses, optical illusions, and the psychology of genius. The sections are underpinned by examples of people in history who have excelled in different areas.
The text is straightforward and easy to understand without �dumbing down� the subject. Many chapters, such as the one about optical illusions are fun and whilst educational. This is certainly a book which is easy to pick up and read in small sections, useful when keeping the attention of children. Highly recommended. '

'I loved this book!! I loved the games, they helped my brain focus! The pictures are amazingly drawn. In fact the pictures ''make'' the book as they are crazily drawn. I loved all of the facts about scientists-I feel like I''ve truly learned something and I''ll never tire of this book.'

'This is a fantastic book-cram packed full of fun things to ''train your brain''!! From suduko to mazes to facts it entertained my 8 year old twins for ages but we will look at it little and often! Would make an excellent christmas gift for children around this age and above.'

'As a parent, I found this book to be educational and informative in a fun way. There were lots of interesting facts on the way your brain works and it was well illustrated. There were lots of diagrams and puzzles. It is probably manageable for age around 8 years and up to read by themselves.
My 7 year old child says about the book -"It was good and I learned a lot.My favourite section was about brain waves."'

'Here is an excellent book for children.Packed with easily understood facts about how our brains work,lots of child orientated diagrams and novel ways to test how different areas of your brain work.Also facts on people who we consider to be a genius because of the way they used their brains. I would definately recommend this book to any child age 7 and above to train thier brains whilst having fun.'

'I gave this book to my 8 year old grandson to look at. He has autism, and needs stimulation in all things that he does. He is extremely intelligent, and we find it quite difficult to find books that will hold his attention. However, this book is very brightly illustrated and it seemed to achieve what other books failed to deliver. Brilliant book...he loves it!!'
