'This book is fabulous. We cook from it most weekends as the recipes are easy to make and follow. The food looks like the samples in the pictures. This is by far one of the best cookbooks!'

'This is an excellent and beautifully presented book. The recipies are straight forward and varied. My favourite so far has been the white chocolate and raspberry cakes - i cant count the number of times I have been asked for the recipe. This book covers many of the basic kitchen skills and provides children with an array of culinary possibilities to delight their family and friends with. However, this book should not be viewed solely as child specific. I would recommend this to any adult who enjoys eating delicious food!'

'This is a beautifully designed cookery book designed to get children into the kitchen and making healthy meals and snacks with the family. It is clearly illustrated with easy to follow steps guiding you through each recipe. There are also extremely useful top tips allowing improvisation.
The book is divided into sections such as snacks, light meals, main meals, desserts, baking, drinks, sweets and crafts.
We can give thumbs up to the delicious cream cheese burgers, the spicy potato wedges, and the caramel shortbread they were all easy to make (even with a 21/2 and 41/2 year old !!) and absolutely delicious to eat! (even my fussy 41/2 year old devoured the burgers with relish!!) But why should it just be for girls? we think that boys will love it just as much (and adults too!!)
the craft section at the end was a nice extra touch.
My only criticism was that maybe that some of the main meals were perhaps more snacky or light meal orientated, but this does not destract from the enjoyment of this book.
I think it is very good value for money and cannot fail to delight its readers.'

'My daughter loved this book - the photos are excellent and so are the instructions - it was also really nice to see the craft section to make invites, place settings etc. She even wants to make some of the recipes to include veg which is pretty amazing! I was a bit concerned that a few of the recipes needed the use of deep hot oil but any mum would be supervising their children anyway. A lovely book which will be getting well used.'

'This was a fab book to work with. Clear pictures to keep me focussed and on the right track. A book I was able to work from alone and with clear health and safety issues that my mummy is so hot on. I love it and I am a 12 year old home schooled person.'
