Oded Schwartz

Oded Schwartz was born and brought up in Israel. His career has included running a delicatessen in North London and commissions as a food stylist.

His books include In Search of Plenty (1992), a highly acclaimed history of Jewish food, which was shortlisted for for the Andre Simon Memorial Award and earned him a special mention in the international Lange Ceretto competition. Preserving, published by Dorling Kindersley in 1996, was also shortlisted for the Andre Simon Memorial Award.
